SURGERY w How to index the trilobe 01 of the Axiom FE implants®? w The indexed implant connection allows 3 possible orientations for prosthetic components in order to reduce handling time and the risk of confusion during dental restoration. The implant wrenches and mandrels have 3 faces, each equipped with a spot corresponding to the indexing of the implant and the prosthetic components. The trilobe of the implant should be positioned in accordance with the desired prosthetic restoration and the position in the mouth. Whatever the clinical situation, the flat spot of the trilobe should be positioned in the implant emergence axis. 1.
